Busca mejorar la salud global a trav\u00e9s de cuatro pilares: investigaci\u00f3n, incidencia, educaci\u00f3n y alianzas para el desarrollo de soluciones basadas en evidencia. En Estados Unidos, el Laboratorio busca construir apoyo bipartidista para reformar la actual arquitectura de preparaci\u00f3n y respuesta ante pandemias, basada en los principios de equidad, transparencia, rendici\u00f3n de cuentas, fortalecimiento de capacidades globales, sostenibilidad financiera y gobernanza compartida. Como investigador y defensor de pol\u00edticas, <strong>Jacob realiza estudios sobre pol\u00edticas de salud y traduce la evidencia cient\u00edfica en acciones para promover una gobernanza sanitaria global equitativa<\/strong>, responsable y preparada ante emergencias.<\/p><p>Antes de este rol, su investigaci\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en el <strong>dise\u00f1o y evaluaci\u00f3n de ensayos cl\u00ednicos sobre abuso de sustancias y enfermedades mentales<\/strong> e infecciosas coexistentes, con especial inter\u00e9s en poblaciones minoritarias de g\u00e9nero y sexualidad.
