independiente de l\u00edderes mundiales que trabaja para fortalecer la capacidad global de prevenir, prepararse y responder ante brotes de enfermedades infecciosas antes de que se conviertan en pandemias generalizadas.<br> El Instituto AHF de Salud P\u00fablica Global y el Laboratorio de Pol\u00edticas de Salud P\u00fablica de la Universidad de Miami colaboraron en el lanzamiento del Panel en 2021, como respuesta a la pandemia de COVID-19.<br> El objetivo principal del Panel es superar las brechas cr\u00edticas en la arquitectura de la salud p\u00fablica global mediante la promoci\u00f3n de una nueva convenci\u00f3n global de salud p\u00fablica. Para lograrlo, el Panel realiza incidencia pol\u00edtica al m\u00e1s alto nivel gubernamental.<br> El equipo de la Universidad de Miami, dirigido por el Dr. Jos\u00e9 Szapocznik, actu\u00f3 como Edwards College de la Universidad de Cambridge y ex directora ejecutiva de Oxfam GB.<br> Est\u00e1 compuesto por 10 miembros de alto nivel, reconocidos por su liderazgo en los campos de la salud p\u00fablica, las finanzas, el derecho, la gobernanza parlamentaria, nacional e internacional y la gesti\u00f3n de pandemias.<br> Desde abril de 2021, el Panel ha promovido la creaci\u00f3n de un acuerdo internacional que fomente la solidaridad, transparencia, rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y equidad, involucrando a todo el aparato gubernamental y estableciendo mecanismos de supervisi\u00f3n
