The Institute’s operational research encompasses a myriad of both qualitative and quantitative research projects aimed at advancing evidence-based decision making and policy development. So far we have published papers on the association between the social determinants of health and people living with HIV in Miami-Dade County, FL, and on the association between COVID-19 testing and fatality; and we have presented posters on the effects of continuity of treatment among the HIV positive migrant population in Mexico, on treatment initiation and global HIV mortality, and on trends in global HIV funding.
